What is fluoride?
Fluoride has been added to most municipal drinking water (except well water) to help reduce tooth decay. It strengthens the enamel to help reduce the effects of bacteria on the teeth.
Is fluoride safe?
Fluoride has been used in the United States since the 1950’s. It is safe as well as very effective at reducing cavities.
We can check your water system to see if you have optimum fluoride levels and to see if your child needs supplemental fluoride treatments.
